Welcome back, y’all! A very light week this week.
THE QUEEREST THING I WATCHED THIS WEEK
FILM
NEW ON STREAMING
Jinkx Monsoon: Red Head Redemption (available on Hulu)
I’ve loved Jinkx a long time, so I was very excited to see her comedy special. I liked it a lot, but it wasn’t perfect. She has a lot of good stuff in here, and when things work, they REALLY work, but I actually didn’t laugh as much throughout as I thought I would. Even so, I still love Jinkx, and I still had a good time. 6/10. Queer Factor: 7/7.

CONCLUDED SEASONS
Jessica Jones (available on Disney+)
Season 2, Episodes 10-13
Season 3, Episodes 1-6
This is less of a conclusion and more of a drop. I was excited to rewatch Season 3 because I didn’t really remember it, but honestly, I was so bored that I couldn’t continue. Season 1 is still so great, in large part due to David Tennant’s Kilgrave. The following seasons’ villains just didn’t stack up. Add to that the fact that Jessica (Krysten Ritter) pushes away all her allies in Season 2 makes for some very bleak watching without the fun of a good villain. So, I’m dropping the show in favor of other ones. Season 1: 9/10. Overall show: 5/10. Queer Factor: 3/7.
That’s it for this week! Grand total: 27 episodes, 1 film
